Compensation as a Source of Competitive Advantage

Video
August 2016

Transcript

"If you see a compensation plan design that looks like it was designed in a way that fits all of the outside criteria for a good compensation plan, you should probably question whether or not it will work. Those are simplistic. They are check the box, and they are universal, which says that they have no recognition of the individual differences among company business strategies or talent management strategies. A compensation program has to reinforce an effective business strategy that is led by people who know what they're doing with a good vision, and then compensation can be very effective in helping you create a competitive advantage."
