About the Survey

The Independent Colleges and Universities Executive Compensation and Benefits Survey provides timely compensation and benefits data for 15 executive positions. In 2022, a total of 107 institutions from across the country participated. The national report includes an executive summary noting current trends and findings. Participants are able to benchmark executive positions against multiple variables to determine whether cabinet positions are competitively positioned. For over 20 years, this survey was conducted by Yaffe and Company. In September 2020, Pearl Meyer acquired Yaffe and Company.
