WCD Global Institute 2022: Compensation & Human Capital Committee

Evolving Practices & Lessons Learned

The traditional compensation committee is expanding to include multiple aspects of leadership development and talent management. Not only does this necessitate some rethinking at the committee-level, it also means the committee’s working relationship with management, the full board, and other committees may need to evolve.

Our speakers will discuss two sides to this developing story, including what is changing in the traditional compensation committee: the additional duties, changes to charters, potential overlaps in committee responsibilities, and the increasing regulation that is driving much of the change. We will also focus on how the changes are implemented and by whom: what skills are needed today on a compensation and human capital committee, the caliber of advisor(s) that can help, and how best to onboard and provide ongoing educational components.

Join Pearl Meyer from 3:00pm - 4:30pm as we participate in a panel discussion on the topic of Evolving Practices and Lessons Learned.
