Compensation & Governance Practices: Latest in Evolving Guidance and Incentive Rules

Recent events have pushed executive compensation conversations into the headlines. This panel will take a look at the recent Wells Fargo claw back discussions, assess the current regulatory landscape for compensation, including proposed regulations for Dodd Frank Section 956, and address incentive compensation design from a risk management perspective for both executive and line positions in commercial, retail and mortgage. In addition, the importance of corporate governance and oversight of incentive plans will be discussed, with special focus on the development of policies and the role of the Board and management. Finally, insights on how examiners have looked at compensation practices will be shared.
