Biography

Scott is a managing director in Pearl Meyer's Houston office. He has nearly 30 years of experience in compensation administration and consulting. Scott consults with both management and boards of directors in organizations from a variety of industries, including gaming, restaurant/hospitality, utilities, independent power production, exploration and production, oilfield services, midstream, refining and marketing, energy trading and marketing, chemicals, manufacturing, construction, and others. Scott has advised companies on a wide range of executive compensation issues, including compensation level assessments, incentive design, governance, employment contract design, compensation philosophy, peer group development and review, stock ownership policies, board of directors compensation design, and other related issues.

Scott has an MBA and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Mississippi State University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Alabama. He is a frequent speaker on topics related to executive compensation.
