Melissa L. Means
Melissa Means is Managing Director in the Boston office, where her areas of expertise include total compensation strategy, executive compensation, employee compensation, short- and long-term incentive compensation strategy and design, market practices benchmarking, and performance management systems. Mrs. Means specializes in working with small to large companies in the Life Sciences industry, including biotechnology/biopharmaceutical, instruments and pharmaceutical firms.
Prior to joining Pearl Meyer & Partners, Mrs. Means was the Director of Compensation and Benefits at a software firm, with responsibility for compensation and benefit program design and implementation, and held executive compensation consulting positions at Mercer and Towers Perrin.
Mrs. Means holds a BBA. from Miami University of Ohio. She is a Certified Compensation Professional and Certified Equity Professional and a member of WorldatWork, NASPP and SHRM.
