We want Vice Presidents who can:
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of technical issues and alternatives for selecting an appropriate solution for client situations.
- Integrate broad business and client knowledge to identify and develop innovative, well conceived and appropriate design recommendations.
- Manage and/or coordinate the day-to-day activities and delivery of services.
As a Vice President you will participate in the design, development, and implementation of executive compensation strategies. You will be consulting with clients on executive compensation issues including providing guidance and support to internal and external clients on a variety of interesting issues. In addition, you will demonstrate a mastery of consulting by effectively supervising multiple projects, interacting with clients providing consulting advice and addressing business development opportunities.
Your success will be driven by:
- Partnering with clients over a multi-year period, beyond the life of any one project; initiate, identify and participate in all services provided to clients.
- Active participation in projects both internally and externally that contribute to the development of intellectual capital that strengthens PM&P’s brand in the marketplace
- Coaching and developing others’ analytical and consulting skills.
- Developing a particular technical expertise that is of value to the firm and its clients.
You will need:
- Significant experience understanding financial concepts and interpreting financial statements.
- Proven technical, client management, plan design, facilitation, and project leadership skills.
- 7-10 years of industry experience in a compensation environment, with either a national human resources consulting firm, public accounting firm or law firm; 4 plus in a professional services firm would be ideal.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in finance/business, accounting, mathematic/statistics or economics. A MBA or JD would be a plus, as would certifications such as CPA, CEP or CFA.
- Basic client development and relationship skills.
