Matthew T. Stinner Matthew T. Stinner is a Managing Director and head of the Boston office of Pearl Meyer & Partners. He advises clients on compensation strategy and governance philosophy and implementation, as well as in all areas of executive and employee compensation and benefits. He has expertise working with Fortune 1000 companies in a variety of industries, including professional services, insurance, life sciences, financial services, technology, industrial and consumer products. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Stinner was a Principal at Mercer Human Resource Consulting and a Partner at two major accounting firms, where he focused on compensation and benefit issues. He earlier held positions at Fidelity Investments. Mr. Stinner speaks frequently on issues related to corporate governance and compensation, including presentations before the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and The Conference Board. He also has written for and been quoted by numerous publications including Workspan and the Boston Business Journal. Mr. Stinner holds degrees from Hamilton College and Boston College Law School and is a member of the bar in Massachusetts and New York.
