Michael T. Esser Mike Esser, Managing Director in the Los Angeles office, consults with clients on a wide range of executive, employee and equity compensation issues. Mr. Esser has more than 18 years of consulting experience in compensation and benefits, specializing in executive and board compensation, compensation strategy, and short- and long-term incentive plan design and competitive analyses. Prior to joining Pearl Meyer & Partners, Mr. Esser served as a consultant and manager with a global accounting and consulting firm. Earlier, Mr. Esser was an executive compensation consultant, and responsible for managing business development for another major consulting firm's annual compensation survey business and co-managed its Total Compensation Measurement Database. He holds a BBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
