Richard King
Richard King, Managing Director in the New York office, joined Pearl Meyer & Partners in 2010 with more than 17 years experience advising Boards and senior management of publicly-traded and privately-held companies on executive compensation matters. His expertise includes the development of compensation strategies and philosophies; incentive programs; pay structures; severance and change-in-control benefits; and director compensation. Mr. King also advises clients on matters of corporate governance and technical issues related to the tax, accounting and securities implications of compensation.
Mr. King previously practiced at Hewitt Associates and served as a senior compensation executive with Altria and Kraft Foods International. He holds a B.S. from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta, an M.B.A. from SUNY Albany and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
