Independent Executive Compensation Advisor Pearl Meyer & Partners Names Sanford Godwin as Managing DirectorNEW YORK, May 10, 2010 — Sanford Godwin has joined independent executive compensation consultant Pearl Meyer & Partners as a Managing Director in the firm's Atlanta office. Mr. Godwin most recently was a consultant with Mercer.

Mr. Godwin advises Compensation Committees and top management teams on all aspects of executive compensation, outside Director compensation and related corporate governance issues. During his career, he has worked with a wide variety of publicly traded and privately held companies in most major industries. Mr. Godwin frequently speaks on compensation and governance issues for trade and professional organizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Godwin was a Partner and Principal of Mercer, where he was the executive compensation practice leader for the Atlanta office.
Mr. Godwin holds a B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Certified Compensation Professional.
