Independent Executive Compensation Advisor Pearl Meyer & Partners Names Peter Miterko as Managing Director

NEW YORK, June 1, 2010 — Peter Miterko has joined independent executive compensation consultant Pearl Meyer & Partners as a Managing Director in the firm's New York office. Mr. Miterko most recently was a principal with Hewitt Associates.

Mr. Miterko, who is a tax lawyer and accountant by training, has practiced in the area of executive compensation for 25 years, assisting clients in the design of programs that drive long-term value creation and in matters of corporate governance. He works in a wide variety of industries, with particular emphasis in the finance, real estate, and technology sectors.

Mr. Miterko previously was a Principal with Hewitt Associates and leader of its New York Executive Compensation Practice. He also has served as a global practice leader for Aon's Mergers & Acquisitions Consulting Practice and as a corporate and tax attorney at Carter Ledyard and Milburn, specializing in executive compensation matters. Mr. Miterko began his career as a compensation consultant at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Miterko is a graduate of Brown University and holds law degrees from the University of Connecticut School of Law and the New York University School of Law. A member of the Board of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Mr. Miterko is a member of the Connecticut and Colorado Bars and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver School of Law.
