Position Profiles
At Pearl Meyer & Partners, each role our employees play is vital to our success. Below is a brief snapshot of each role:
Analyst
As an Analyst you will learn the basics of compensation consulting while developing the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct the complex competitive and industry analyses that form the foundation of the service we deliver to our clients. Attention to detail, learning to manage multiple projects and actively gaining an understanding of your client’s business strategy and goals are the basis of an Analyst’s success.
Associate
As an Associate you will continue to broaden and deepen your skills and knowledge set while contributing directly to the content of reports developed for Compensation Committee Board meetings and client presentations. Developing Project Management skills and mastering the analysis are the keys to your role as an Associate.
Consultant
Consultants are responsible for developing and training both Analysts and Associates helping them achieve the necessary skills by transferring knowledge, prioritizing work and providing expert guidance. You will conduct major portions of client assignments, including creation of essential deliverables. In addition, Consultants continue to refine their industry expertise through client interaction, gaining knowledge of industry trends and by contributing to the company’s intellectual capital.
Vice President
When you have achieved the role of Vice President you have mastered the complexities of compensation consulting and are effectively supervising multiple projects, providing technical solutions and using your knowledge and industry contacts to develop new business opportunities. You are viewed as a “go to” person within the organization. You are responsible for defining the scope of various projects as well as the development of client-tailored work products.
Managing Director
As a Managing Director you are respected in the industry and within the firm for your strong relationship with clients, your role as Trusted Advisor to their Compensation Committee Board members, your outstanding thought leadership, technical expertise and ability to help PM&P grow by expanding our portfolio of clients. Managing Directors are leaders within the organization setting the tone for our continued success.
