David Bixby

David Bixby joined the firm in 2010 as a Managing Director in the Houston office. He has over 12 years of compensation consulting experience with an emphasis on the assessment and design of executive and director pay programs, including assisting clients with compensation strategy and philosophy development, annual and long-term incentive plan design, employment and severance agreements, and competitive pay analyses. Mr. Bixby has worked with both public and private companies of varying size across a range of industries, with a particular focus on oil & gas, oilfield services, renewable energy, and energy marketing and trading.

Prior to joining Pearl Meyer & Partners, Mr. Bixby was a Senior Consultant in the Houston office of Towers Perrin (later Towers Watson), where he was responsible for managing ongoing relationships with senior management and boards of directors for a number of clients. He also oversaw the design and administration of energy industry compensation surveys covering energy marketing and trading, oilfield services, oil and gas exploration & production, and renewable power generation.

Mr. Bixby holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from Rice University.
